Baseline to Sand Dimas Canyon

Last Saturday I reluctantly headed out to San Dimas Canyon.  It was cold but I kept spinning to meet up with Eric G, Kyle and Andy.

Within minutes, Andy got a flat and once that was repaired, Kyle realized he flatted as well.

After repairing two flats we headed West on Baseline to La Verne.  From La Verne we headed up Esperanza to Golden Hills and finally to the base of San Dimas Canyon.  Kyle dropped off and headed back home while Eric, Andy and I rode up the canyon.

I'm a Professional ...

I'm a professional recreational cyclist

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Last Saturday Chris, Mike K, Michael Y, Riz and I headed out early for a reluctant GMR Hustle.  It was early. It’s always early because I got things to do!  Thankfully I have a great group of bicycle friends committed to riding, even if it means getting up in the early hours and in the mountains well before 7 am.

We met at our usual spot, Foothill Blvd. and Garey Ave. in the Chase Bank / Carls Jr. parking lot.  Mike K and Michael Y., drove to the meet spot while Riz, Chris and I rode in.  It was cold, not terrible cold. 45 degrees is what the US Bank sign said in La Verne.
