Bicycle Friends Club - It's Official

I’d like to thank everyone who have helped to build the Bicycle Friends community. When I started Bicycle Friends in 2007, it was a small group of friends with shared interest. I created BF to connect people with rides, meet new people and have a good time all the while. Throughout the years, BF has grown significantly and I’ve met awesome people along the way. We are turning Bicycle Friends into an official Bicycle Club. With this comes many benefits such as club discounts from our local and ecommerce partners as well as insurance coverage for our club group rides, like Thirsty Thursdays, the GMR and Long Beach Hustle, etc. There would be a membership fee of approximately $25 ($35 for Family = Individual and up to 4 additional family members), to help with the yearly administrative costs, insurance, a member appreciation party and much more to come. The Bicycle Friends community continues to grow and my core purpose of connecting people with rides, meeting new people and having a good time hasn’t changed. If you are interested please email me at jason@bicyclefriends.com or visit us on https://www.facebook.com/groups/bicyclefriends/. Please let me know if you would be interested in either membership as an Individual or Family. Respectfully, Jason T. Castillo.

Dropped the Bar Tops

I've been wanting to remove my bar top brakes for years.  I had some spare time this weekend so I stopped by Incycle, bought some brake cables and new hoses.

Below is the finished product.  I like the look.  It's cleaner.

While working on my bar tops, I noticed a pretty significant crack on my Thompson stem.  Looks like I have another trip to Incycle.
