Prescott to Coyote Springs Rd in Prescott Valley

On Wednesday I met up with the Bike Prescott Cycling Club and we headed to Coyote Springs Rd in Prescott Valley.  It was a fairly flat ride as Prescott sits at around 5,500 ft and Prescott Valley drops to 5,100 ft.  Coyote Springs Rd is an old country road with large plots of land perfect for horses and livestock. 

There was a good mix of riders and bikes.  We had two e-bikes riding along with us and I met a person (Jeff) originally from Chino Hills.  Jeff and I talked about all the great rides in Southern California, Bud's, Montrose, Team V, Como, etc.  

Prescott Valley to Jerome to Clarkdale

 I did some riding with the Bike Prescott Cycling Club.  On Tuesday, we started off at the intersection of 89A/FR151 and rode up Mingus Pass to an old mining town called Jerome.  After Jerome we continued down to Clarkdale.  The ride started at about 5000 ft and continued above 7100 ft.  Total trip was 34 miles and ~5000 ft of climbing.  If you are in Prescott, AZ you have to do this ride.  Make sure you bring water and have fresh climbing legs.
