Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Monday Morning Psycho-List Crazy Legs

I guess I didn't get the memo.  Today's Monday morning ride was on the light side but that didn't stop Terry, Bill and I from showing up to ride.  It's was a nice relaxed ride, and on the way back, I rode with Terry on Baseline to get some extra credit miles.  Extra credit miles help push me above my weekly goal of 200 miles per week.

We also ran into Jason and Brad while on Bonita Ave in San Dimas.  I think, I also spotted J Bock, Karlene and Chris Davis heading west on Bonita near Damien High School.

It's great seeing so many people out on the road enjoying the sun and extended Memorial Day weekend.

Colton to Norco via SART

Today I had the opportunity to ride with Richard O, and his two friends (Emilio and Jaime) for the first time. We started in Colton and headed to Norco via SART. Richard’s daughter and mine used to play on the same Soccer Club last year and when I found out he rode bikes, I told myself one day we’d ride together. Today was the day and it was a nice flat 40 miles on a route that was new to me.

Circle of Doom (In reverse)

This ride was epic.  88 miles and 9000 ft of climbing.  Most notable is once you make it to the base of Hwy 2, you have to climb for 40 miles until you reach Hwy 39.  It was a great ride and I am thankful we have SAG support.
