Beach Century (Euro, SART, SGVT)

Today Otto D'Ambrosio, Jessica M Garner, Art Hernandez, Gregory Montgomery and I decided to ride to the beach.  Yeah, we did a Beach Century on hump day and it was awesome.  Awesome except for the crazy Tri-Girl who almost took Jessica out then forced her way in our draft and never took a pull.  Heck, she didn't even say "hi" or smile after sitting on our wheels for miles and miles.  I felt so used. Other notables on this ride included an unusual envelope hand off on SGVT (maybe $$$ were exchanged or something else...EPO), some dude showed us his bare chest and a seat post mechanical. 

It was a great day, I felt good until Badillo and Grand when I needed some sugar to perk me up for the final several miles.  A Coke, Twizzlers and Kit-Kats solved that.

Beach Century*

Today we set out for our Monday Century ride but I cut it short and rode with Aflie to his parents house in Cypress.  Overall it was a good ride and we started the ride from Euro Cafe and headed to Corona to pick up SART at Green River.  

Beach Century - Starting the week on a roll

Today just felt like a beach century would start the week right.  Fortunately I had a few Bicycle Friends to join me on this Monday's adventure.  Big thanks to Attila for leading us out on SGVT.  I was able to get a number of PR's for his hard effort.  On the way back it was hot coming through Pomona but alas, we completed the century before noon. 

For the beach century we heading east from Pomona to Duarte and down SGVT.  Once on PCH we headed south to SART back home.
