Tuesday Night Gravel Ride

 Today was hot and dusty.  We had a great crowd today and we took Thompson Creek Trail to the back of Padua and into Upland.

Jamie and I rode  from our home to Claremont Wilderness Trail.  We locked up the bikes and walked the loop.  Good times.

And finished off the day at Cafe XO!

A Leisurely Ride Around Town

The weather was warm and nice as Meme and I headed from my house through Thompson Creek Trail. Not much bicycle traffic on the way to Mt. Baldy Road, just a few joggers and people walking their dogs. At the top of Mills, the park and ride was packed with cars. A good day to hike Claremont Wilderness Trail. From Mt. Baldy Road we headed down Padua to Arrow Hwy and through the Claremont Colleges.

As we entered the Colleges, we met up with two students getting ready for an epic ride to San Diego. They were from the colleges and soon to be graduated. I could tell by their enthusiasm they were excited on many levels. Nice, their next stage of life is literally starting with a voyage!

We rode through the colleges, and completed a lap around Bonelli Park. I tackled Cannon Drive and met up with Meme on the other side of Puddingstone Drive.

After Bonelli we decided to conclude our ride and headed home.
