Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Psycho-List Monday Morning Crazy Legs

I started my first week in semi-retirement with a Monday morning ride.  The group ride of choice was the Psycho-List's Crazy Legs ride that meets at Euro Cafe and we roll out by 8:15 am.  This ride happens every Monday morning.

Carl and Michael joined me on the ride and it felt GREAT!  After the ride was completed, Michael and I decided to do some extra credit and headed to Baseline and Hellman before heading back home via the Pacific Electric Trail (PET).

The total trip distance was ~43 miles (The group ride was ~25 miles).
