Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Montrose 8 am

Fun but fast and a little painful!

I headed out on my usual Montrose Saturday ride and today Demi was back! Demi had a crash about a month or so ago and has been missing on our rides. It's was a nice treat seeing him pull up next to me on Route 66 and we continued on until South Pasadena. The Inland Empire group was strong today and about 10 of us all headed out to the Montrose meet up near the Trader Joes in S. Pasadena.

It was Richard O's first time doing this ride and I think he was surprised by the number of riders who showed up to today's ride. Unfortunately we lost contact around Cerritos and he ended up following the group that went short. I also had the chance to meet a few new people today, specifically Kyle and Jim.
