Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Buds Ride

I was already tired before I even started the ride. It was fast but not to bad.  That eastern Via Verde entrance always gets me.  The road is in poor condition and beats me up everytime. I feel a cold coming along.  Lets see what happens. I'd like to ride GMR to MT Baldy lifts this Saturday morning.

Sorry no pictures. The ride is to fast for pictures.

It's almost to the point where a dirt road would be better than that section of pavement.

That roads is like a cobble stone road now. Wish they would redo it.

When I do that section, I always think of how the cobblestones of Paris Roubaix must be even worst. That back section of Bonelli though is horrible.
