Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Whittier Swap Meet

Yesterday, Meme and I went to the Whittier Bike Swap Meet. This time there were many more bikes and less parts. BMX bikes, BMX minis and 24" Cruisers seemed to be in abundance.

Old School GT's, Hutchinsons, and etc BMX bikes were all around us. I don't remember the brand Circle Pro but this one stood out.

Below - Torpado? Never heard of the brand.

Below - I've only seen Waterford Bikes on the web. This one looked to be a 51 cm Track Bike.

Below - Schwinn Paramount, if only it was in a size 53 cm. It was a pretty bike, lugged with Campagnolo Drop outs.

I remember this Red Colnago from last time. Later in the day I saw someone buy it.

There were a few fixies. Not many, just a few this time.

Penny Farthing anyone?

A kid size tall bike. I love it!
