Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Glendora Mountain Road to Mt Baldy - F I X E D ! ! !

Its been a while, but I couldn't resist when John P texted me Sunday morning.

Saturday Mike and I rode to the ski lifts, and Sunday I worked on the yard.  By Monday morning, I was tired, but I managed to haul my butt up GMR once again.  If I said it was easy, I'd be lying.  It was a bear and by the time I made it home I was exhausted.

John P and I stopped at the shed and just before Fork Plus 8.  The 5 minute breaks were very welcomed.

This is John P grinding up GRR between Fork Plus 5.85 and ~7.  I was very happy to see Fork Plus 8.29.

I'm thinking GMR fixed is too much @ 48 X 16.  I need to switch to something much easier.
