Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Running the Tour De France?

Trailer - Zoe Goes Runnging - The Film: Running the Tour de France from Alexander Kreher Photography on Vimeo.
Zoë Romano will be the first person to RUN the route of the Tour de France. I will join her to document that adventure.

This summer Richmonder Zoë Romano will become the first person ever to RUN the Tour de France. Zoë is such an inspiring person with a really exciting adventure laying in front of her - I think her story not only deserves to be documented, it needs to be!

On May 18, Zoë will set out on an 9-week trek in Nice and log 30-35 miles a day until she reaches the finish in Paris on July 20 (one day ahead of the peloton). That’s right-- more than a marathon every day.

I will accompany her to France and produce a full-length documentary about her journey.
Zoë and I previously worked together on “Street Dreams”, an award-winning short documentary which I created about Zoë’s run across the United States in 2011. (https://vimeo.com/27590074)
