Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Glendora Mountain Road - FIXED

I rode up GMR to the top of Monroe a few days ago.  The air was hot but manageable and much of the road was blanketed in shade leading up to the first saddle.  I rode later in the day, after work actually, and GMR was quiet.

There were enough clouds in the air to contrast nicely with the blue sky and this made for great panoramic photos. Of course I forgot my camera and had to take pictures with my cell phone.  Its always difficult taking pictures with the cell phone.  I wish cell phone manufacturers made a phone with a excellent camera.

Have a great weekend off riding.
