Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Meet Kevin H - From Taiwan to Glendora Mountain Road

Earlier this week I got a text.

"Hi Jason, nice to meet u. This is Kevin. Can I join ur ride on Sat.?"

I reply.

"Kevin D?"

It wasn't Kevin D. It was Kevin H.  Kevin H., drove up to Michael Y, while Mike was riding in Diamond Bar.  Kevin H introduced himself and said he is new in town and into cycling.  They exchanged numbers and Mike agreed to show Kevin some of the local riding spots.

Kevin H. is from Taiwan and here in California for a few years on business. Kevin is an avid cyclist and is looking to meet Bicycle Friends.  Michael gave Kevin my number and we planned a Baldy trip for this Saturday.

Friday night Mike wasn't feeling good and opted out of the ride so it was just Kevin and me for this Baldy ride.  Kevin is a pretty cool guy.  He rode strong up GMR.  Unfortunately, I was pressed for time so we turned around at East Fork.

We turned around at East Fork.  It seems I am always pressed for time these days.  On the way down, I stoped to talk with Bill and Matt.  Somehow I missed Annette.  Total bummer!  Kevin H and I also ran into John P.  John was sporting a new Rapha Kit.  Gregory on his Tri-Bike was also heading up GMR.  Gregory and I rode together for a few miles.
