Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Rollers Versus Trainers - Revisted

I have rollers but am thinking about getting a trainer (AGAIN).  I need to step up my game.  Either I'm slowing down in my "Golden Years" or the guys I ride with are just getting faster and faster.

I am not sure if a trainer will benefit me any more than my rollers.  I spoke with a guy at Incycle and he said stick to the rollers and download some training videos from www.TheSufferfest.com.  I think I'll give this a try before giving up on the rollers.

*** I really enjoy the rollers and they have helped a lot.  The guy at Incycle told me to save my money because, in his opinion, rollers are the way to go.  My biggest concern is how to simulate climbing exercise on them.

Think if one rides to videos better to use trainers for stability.
