Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Montrose Group Ride

Today Rico Arrieta and I headed to South Pasadena to meet up with the 8 am Montrose group.  Along the way we picked up Demi Hechanova, Ryan Huffman and Nathaniel Khoe.  From there we made in time for the Montrose 8 am ride.

Last night I spent about 2 hours trying to coax Nathaniel Khoe to join the ride with us.  I basically used every half truths to get him up and ready for the ride.  Half truths like, "The 8 am group is chill," and, "You will be fine, it's gotten much slower since COVID." Fortunately I was able to convince him.
