Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

There to Here Plus GMR Gate to Shack

After yesterday's century to Long Beach, I planned to take a rest day today.  Then family plans changed and I will be busy on this Saturday.  So when Ricardo Rodriguez promised a "chill" ride from Day Creek/Baseline to Bonelli Park, I was all in.  A chill ride would be perfect to stretch the legs outs.  Then Fco Iglesias suggested we add a "chill" GMR Gate to Shack.  OKAY! Let's do it.  Today turned out to be a good day, the pace was nice (not quite chill pace) and the weather was amazing.  We finished the ride with a bean and cheese burrito and coke.  I can't complain.
