Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Bud's Ride

First lap no problem, second and third lap all systems failed!

I knew Bud’s was going to hurt. When I left the house to meet up with the group in Claremont, I knew I was in for it. We headed off on Bonita to Bonelli and it was cruising pace until Fairplex. As we entered the park the speed picked up and I hung on for the first lap before getting dropped pretty hard for lap two and three. I never rejoined the group and it seemed like a lot of people lost contact with the fasted of the group after lap one.

Bud’s hurts!
