Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Thirsty Thursday

Back at it!

Last night I joined the Thirsty Thursday ride. I used to do the ride regularly but stopped because, at the time, I’d get dropped A LOT. Over time this ride got so fast as more and more riders joined in on the hustle. I am a little healthier and faster these days so I decided to rejoin the group. Yep its fast. I have to give a shout out to Warren because he did a great job keeping us together and the pace steady until Cienega. On Mountain Ave, Jason P turned up the pace and it was sayonara. On the way back Jake (I think that’s his name) and I traded off pulls to Euro Cafe. We managed to pick up a few riders who were left in Jason Paez’s wake. Thirsty Thursday was awesome.
