Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Kyokuto Pro VIC II - Vintage Pedals

I found these pedals in my junk box. They are vintage Kyokuto pedals from the late 1970s. I'm going to use these for my SS Road Bike project. They have a fairly wide platform and will look great with some stainless steel cages.

In a previous post, I said Yin & Yang design scheme but now I think a Piet Mondrian color scheme on the frame would look great. When it comes to design, I like the bold colors of Red, Yellow and Blue and Piet Mondrian's use of the primary colors and angular lines really captivates me. The only deviation for me would be all black wheels.
