Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Buds Ride, Where Did They Go?

I wasn't able to get out of the office until 5:15 pm today which put me in the Park and Ride of Via Verde by 6 pm. I quickly geared up and headed on my ride. I never caught up with the Buds group but I did meet up with Randy. His Brother-In-Law lives near me and I've seen Randy a few times in the neighborhood.

We rode two laps together. He's a strong rider and we kept a good pace for the two laps.

I think I may have seen you buzz by across the dam while I was out running last night!

You run? Lets go. Earlier this year I was running 4 to 5 miles every other day then stopped. I need to get back in.

I was talking with a Co-Worker about signing up for a mud run or half marathon to get me motivated.

I'm running a 5k in Anaheim next weekend. I've got almost one 5k a month for the rest of the yr.

I'm into 5ks at the moment, slowly working my way to a half mary! I go running on Monday & Wednesday.
