Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

A Walk Through the Slot Canyons

We rented kayaks and headed to the Slot Canyons. This is a short video of our walk in the canyon. Kayaking in to the canyons wasn't difficult, however if you are prone to motion sickness, you might want to take something for it. The trip to the opening of the canyon is about 2.5 miles. Once in the canyon, you can hike as long as you want. Don't forget to bring plenty of water and food. Don't get carried away with your hike and the amazing views because you still need to kayak back. The kayak ride back is harder because you are tired, boats are making the water choppy and you are going against the current. Keep that in mind when planning your trip. We started our kayaking at 7 am.
