Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Carl's Big Fall (Warning Bloody Graphic Photos!)

LAST WEEKEND!
The day started out with rain but the sky quickly cleared and made way for some sun. Carl decided to take out his new Dirt Bike to skyline in Corona. The fire road went up for miles and at the top Carl took this picture.

Here is another picture at the top of Skyline. Scott and Randy are ready for more trail riding!

Then it was time to turn around and go back home. According to Carl he was taking it easy on the downhill, not moving to quickly and being cautious. Randy and Scott were pulling away from Carl when his front end washed out. He went down pretty hard. After the shock of falling off his bike he took inventory and realized he was banged up pretty good with Scott and Randy out of sight!

Shortly after, Scott came riding back up and together they rode back to the cars. Skyline is in Corona and the cars were in Norco. IT must have been at least 10 to 15 more miles of riding!

Carl cleaned up, got in his car and drove himself to the Kaiser in Ontario off the 60 fwy, only to find out they don't have an emergency room! So he headed home to Covina to pick up his wife and together they drove to Kaiser in Baldwin Park.
