Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

CX Love on Claremont Wilderness Trail

It has been a while but I managed to squeak out a MTB, well CX, ride up Burbank and down Cobal.  It was a good ride but after all the road riding I have been doing, Claremont Wilderness Trail left my arms sore from all the bumps and handfuls of brakes I was grabbing in the way down.

I took the Kona Major Jake CX and I noticed its time for a tune up.  The bike has been sitting since last season and the pads are worn down.

On the way up ...

On the way home ...
