Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

South Hills Park, Glendora Ca

On Saturday, Carl, Dave, Gary and I rode Mountain Bikes around South Hills Park in Glendora.  Its been a while since I rode bikes with Carl and I wanted to show him and his group of friends something different.

Race one of the Triple Crown Series was held at South Hills Park.  We rode the race course twice, which is a mix of Fire and Paved roads and some great single track.  The race course was about 3 miles long and we decided on two laps before calling it a day.

This was the first time meeting Dave and Gary.  They are both great guys and rode well.  We only took a few breaks and by lap two they had the course down.
