Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Sights from Glendora Mountain Road

Years ago and some time during the late winter, early springs months, Annette and I were out riding Glendora Mountain road. I was on a mission to reach Mt Baldy.  The weather got the best of us and I would only make it to Fork + MM 6.20 on this day.

These are a few things I saw on the way up.

Great photo of the flower with the rain drops. I remember that day and how cold and dank it was. June was it? I need a blast of cool air as I am again foraging farther from the shed and getting closer to the elusive Post Office.
