Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Granoque Day 2 UCI Jr. Men

On October 26, 2011, I posted, "68 and Sunny."  It was a video short on Granoque Cross.  The CX race looked like a lot of fun so I decided to search the web regarding Granoque Cross.

I found this website regarding the event, www.granoguecross.com

"Granogue Cross is often referred to as the crown jewel of the Mid Atlantic Cross scene. It is one of the country’s most prestigious cross races. This is an event that all crossers need to experience. The course is a classic Northern Delaware cyclocross circuit that rolls, twists and turns itself through the majestic Dupont Estate. The event offers the toughest cross riders in the region and country an opportunity to tackle a world class course. A UCI C2 event, Granogue Cross is sure to attract the country’s best elite cross riders."
