Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Velocity Cross at Prado Regional Park in Chino

Another weekend of racing.  This time it was Velocity Cross at Prado Regional Park in Chino.

Prado Regional Park is located just off Euclid Avenue from the 71 Fwy.  I've past by Prado a number of times but never stopped by the park.  Prado is a beautiful park where you can hike, fish, picnic and among other things race cyclocross!

On race day, I arrived early. This time, I was going to actually pre-ride the course.  I registered, put on my race jersey, shoes, etc and headed to the course.  It was a relatively flat grassy course for the most part.  There were a set of barriers, and stairs.  Saturdays rain left parts of the course "fairly" muddy but nothing like last weeks MT Sac Fat Tire race.

I took close to 300 photos, you can find them all but clicking this link ... Velocity Cross at Prado Regional Park.

Right after the stairs, #467 hopped on his bike and "CRACK" Broken Seatpost!
