Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Glendora Mountain Road to Mt. Baldy

Clouldy and Wet until Mt. Baldy Village

Today Michael and I left my house around 6:30 am and headed up GMR. It was fairly cold and misty on GMR. Once we got to GRR it was even cloudier and wet. My poor glasses get so fogged up on these rides. Once we got close to the village the sun started poking though. Michael described the scene perfectly. The landscape would move between black and white from the clouds and shadows to full color when we moved into the sun.
